Hello,
I am working with a Jetson Orin Nano module and plan to use it with the JetCore carrier board. My setup includes five Intel RealSense D435iF cameras (USB 3.0) for SLAM + obstacle avoidance, and I also need WiFi connectivity for communication.
Before I proceed, I’d like to confirm a few things:
-
Compatibility: Is the JetCore fully compatible with the Jetson Orin Nano when using multiple USB 3.0 cameras like the D435iF?
-
USB bandwidth: Since I will connect 5 cameras, should I use a powered USB 3.0 hub? Any recommendations on managing bandwidth/power?
-
WiFi support: Does JetCore have built-in WiFi, or should I plan to add WiFi via a USB dongle or M.2 module? If so, are there recommended modules/adapters?
-
Power requirements: Any special considerations for powering JetCore + Orin Nano + multiple RealSense cameras together?
My main goal is to use two cameras for SLAM (front + rear) and the remaining ones for obstacle avoidance, so performance and stability are important.
Thanks in advance for the guidance!
